Reliance Energy Ltd has reported a 25.4 per cent rise in net profit during the first quarter this fiscal to Rs 221.56 crore as against Rs 176.61 crore (Rs 1.76 billion) in the year-ago period.
The company clocked a revenue of Rs 1,983.93 crore (Rs 19.83 billion) in April-June 2007-08 as against Rs 1,325.97 crore (Rs 13.25 billion) in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
