Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd filed a lawsuit seeking declaratory judgement against Pfizer in United States District Court for the District of New Jersey regarding its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Sertraline HCl. The lawsuit seeks the court to declare claims of certain Pfizer patents invalid.
Sertraline HCl is the generic version of Pfizer's Zoloft(R). It is indicated for use in the treatment of depressive, obsessive-compulsive and panic disorders.
