Ranbaxy Laboratories has repoted a 42 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 196.80 crore (Rs 1.97 billion) for the second quarter ended June 30, 2003 as against Rs 138.40 crore (Rs 1.38 billion) in Q2FY02.
Total income has increased to Rs 920.80 crore (Rs 9.21 billion) from Rs 747 crore (Rs 7.47 billion) in the corresponding period of the last fiscal, according to a release issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
