Pharma major Ranbaxy on Thursday reported a 170 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 186 crore (Rs 1.86 billion) for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 68.6 crore (Rs 686 million) in Q4 FY05.
The total income moved up to Rs 1,707 crore (Rs 17.07 billion) from Rs 1,405 crore (Rs 14.05 billion) in Q4 FY05.
