Maruti Suzuki is warming up to the festive season by not only launching the highly anticipated Ciaz, but also a limited edition of India’s favourite tall boy, the Wagon R.
Called the Maruti Wagon R Krest, it comes with ten significant features to set it apart from the standard model.
Noticeable additions on the outside include a new chrome grille, exterior body graphics, mud flaps and a new wheel cover design, while the interior comes with seat covers and carpet floor mats.
The Krest edition focuses on the driver’s ease and convenience, so it comes fitted with reverse parking sensors and a monitoring display, keyless central locking, and a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and four speakers.
With the Wagon R Krest, customers can enjoy the above features worth Rs 32,500 at an additional cost of Rs 22,500 only.
The Krest does not get powertrain updates. It is driven by the same 1-liter K-Series petrol engine that produces 67 bhp, and returns a mileage of 20.5 kmpl in the ARAI tests.
