Taking a fancy for super cars, two mechanics have successfully made a replica of the stunning Lamborghini Diablo, a high-performance sports car. Wang Yu and Li Lintao have made two replicas of the Lamborghini Diablo, which can reach the top speed of 310 km/hour, says Reuters.
Passionate about cars, Wang Yu, a farmer’s son decided to become a mechanic at an young age of 16.
Inspired by the Lamborghini design, Wang Yu bought a special edition model of the Lamborghini Reventon and started working on his dream mission to build a handmade supercar.
Using parts of second-hand cars to cut down costs in a rented garage near Beijing.
It took 6 years for the young duo to build the car.
They spent around $811,899 to buy spare parts and hire workers to build this dream machine, says Reuters.
The original car costs $15,50, 000 and has a speed of 340km/hour.
The first handmade replica of Lamborghini Diablo was displayed at the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition in 2012.
After this amazing success, the two car enthusiasts are working on a replica of the T-Rex motorcycle.
