The Union Cabinet on Thursday referred the proposal for allowing People of Indian Origin to invest in domestic airlines on par with NRIs to a Group of Ministers.
"The GoM on FDI will review the entire issue of PIO investment in domestic airlines and come back to Cabinet with its recommendations," Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said after the Cabinent meeting in New Delhi.
