The Central Board of Trustees on Tuesday deferred a decision till August 9 on finalising interest rates for 3 crore (30 million) provident fund subscribers as a consensus continued to elude.
There was no consensus and the EPF board would meet again on August 9 to discuss the issue, CBT member and CITU secretary W R Varadarajan said.
