"We are ready to invest in order to take Indian fashion designers to Pakistan," ARY Digital Network President and CEO Salman Iqbal said at the Lakme India Fashion Week 2005.
"There is a huge demand for Indian designer clothes in Pakistan, whose market is estimated to be about $10-20 billion," he said.
"If all the 55 Indian designers want to set up fashion houses in Pakistan individually, we are willing to help," he said, Another way of taking Indian fashion designers in Pakistan could be to make available their products under a single roof, he said.
When asked about the possible investments requirements, Iqbal said, "Money is not an issue, all that is required is the Indian designers willingness to come to Pakistan".
"All they have to do is come with their clothes and brands, we would take care of the other requirements," he said.
Iqbal also said the ARY Group was looking at not only promoting Indian fashion in Pakistan but also to the Middle East.
"Dubai has huge demand for Indian designer clothes," he said.
