NSE trading to stop for 35 min: Sep 25 to Oct

The National Stock Exchange will suspend trading operations in capital market and futures and options segment for 35 minutes (11.30 hrs to 12.05 hrs) from September 25 to October 9, 2003 due to sun outage.

NSE in a communication to broking members said, Indian Space Research Organisation has informed that there would be Sun outage from September 25, 2003 to October 09, 2003 between 11:30 hrs to 12:05 hours due to which trading members may face loss of connectivity during the period.

Accordingly, the market timings at the exchanges are being modified for all markets segments.

The market would remain closed for 35 minutes from 11.30 hrs to 12.05 hrs with pre-open period beginning at 12.05 hrs.

The market would re-open at 12.10 hrs, it said.
