NIIT on Friday reported a 97 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 10.7 crore (Rs 107 million) for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 5.50 crore (Rs 55 million) in the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
The company reported a 114 per cent rise in revenue at Rs 297 crore (Rs 2.97 billion) in the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
"International revenue contributed to 64 per cent of the global system-wide revenue. Revenues from China operations grew by 38 per cent," Vijay Thadani, chief executive officer, NIIT, said.
