NIIT Ltd posted a 216 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 6.4 crore in second quarter while the company's global net profit was up at Rs 5.45 crore against a loss of Rs 2.6 crore during the same period a year ago.
NIIT's global revenue during the quarter was up 14 per cent at Rs 216.3 crore (Rs 2.16 billion) out of which IT services revenue was Rs 119.8 crore (Rs 1.19 billion) while NIIT Education contributed Rs 90.1 crore.
NIIT's revenue remained at Rs 89.4 crore against Rs 89 crore during the same period a year ago.
