The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd has launched a web based e-learning platform on it portal to provide a wide array of information to farmers and other commodity market participants.
Through the platform, NCDEX aims to educate farmers, members, traders and other prospective clients about fundamentals of various commodities and benefits of trading in futures, a release stated.
Information would also be available on procedures involved in becoming a member of the exchange, training on the exchange trading platform and physical delivery processes on the portal.
Currently available in English, the e-learning portal would soon be available in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, it added.
The platform is another step in providing training and information about commodity markets across the nation, P H Ravikumar, managing director and CEO, NCDEX said.
