Indian software services firm MphasiS BFL Ltd said on Wednesday its January-March net profit rose 41 per cent from a year earlier to Rs 187.2 million.
The group said its fourth-quarter revenue rose 44 per cent to Rs 1.21 billion.
The results were lower than expected. A Reuters poll had forecast the firm would post a net profit of Rs 207 million on sales of Rs 1.28 billion.
The firm said it expected profit in the current year to March to rise 40-45 per cent and revenue to rise 30-35 per cent.
