Indian drugmaker Morepen Laboratories Ltd has filed an international patent for the manufacturing process of Desloratadine, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Wednesday.
The company is also working on the process to obtain US Food Drug Administration approval for the $500 drug million meant for treatment of allergy, cough and cold.
Its shares were down 1.7 per cent at Rs 22.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
