Sundaram MF waives entry load

Effective from 12 June in Select Focus, Growth and Midcap Select Fund Sundaram Mutual, a trusted name in the mutual fund industry, has removed the entry load for investments above Rs. 25,000 on three of its Equity products namely, Sundaram Select Focus, Sundaram Growth and Sundaram Select Midcap Fund. The new load structure would come into effect from 12 June 2003.

These funds currently carry a load factor varying from 1.5% to 2%, depending on the value of the investment. There is no exit load on Equity Funds of Sundaram Mutual. Sundaram Select Focus is benchmarked against the SNPCNX NIFTY in terms of performance. Sundaram Select Focus is a concentrated equity fund, that seeks to provide capital appreciation by investing in very few, select stocks. The portfolio of this fund at most times comprises 15 stocks.

Sundaram Growth Fund is benchmarked against BSE 200 in terms of performance. Sundaram Growth Fund's objective is to achieve capital appreciation by investing in a well-diversified basket of equities and equity related instruments. Sundaram Select Midcap Fund is benchmarked against NIFTY JR and the funds objective is to achieve capital appreciation by investing in a diversified basket of midcap stocks.
