Mastek has posted a 28 per cent decrease in net profit to Rs 5.4 crore (Rs 54 million) for the third quarter ended March 31, 2003 when compared with Rs 7.52 crore (Rs 75.2 million) for the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Total income has increased 17 per cent to Rs 31.25 crore (Rs 312.5 million) from Rs 26.62 crore (Rs 266.2 million).
Mastek Group has posted a 45 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 16.03 crore (Rs 160.3 million) in the third quarter as against Rs 11.03 crore (Rs 110.3 million) for the same quarter last year.
Total revenue has increased 36 per cent to Rs 99.06 crore (Rs 990.6 million) from Rs 72.54 crore (Rs 725.4 million).
The stock closed flat at Rs 560 on the BSE on Wednesday.
