Maruti sales up 7% in January

Maruti Udyog on Wednesday reported a 7.1 per cent increase in domestic sales in January at 48,526 units.

According to a release issued by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the total sales stood at 50,109 units including 1,583 units of exports.

"The company's volume in the domestic A2 segment (Alto, WagonR, Zen, Swift) grew 21.2 per cent," the release added.
