Maruti Udyog Ltd on Friday reported a 41.8 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ending December 31, 2005, at Rs 339 crore (Rs 3.39 billion) against Rs 239.6 crore (Rs 2.39 billion) in the same period last fiscal.
The company's total income in the period stood at Rs 3,220.7 crore (Rs 32.207 billion) against Rs 2,938.3 crore (Rs 29.383 billion) in Q3 of last fiscal.
