The Maruti Udyog Ltd board has approved a proposal to introduce a voluntary retirement scheme for employees of the company.
The scheme would be offered in two phases during the current financial year and would be available to permanent employees at all levels in the auto major, Maruti Udyog informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
