Malaysia looks forward to utilise the expertise of Indian IT professionals even as the Malaysian construction industry is keen in offering its skills to India, especially in housing projects, Malaysian Deputy Minister for Housing Datuk M Kayveas said in Chennai on Friday.
"Though Malaysia has constructed a super corridor from Kuala Lumpur to the new international airport there, exclusively for IT industry, yet it needs manpower to run the IT industry," he told reporters, adding his country wants expertise of IT professionals from India.
Kayveas said, "Malaysian construction industry has vast experience in eradicating slums in that country. Out of 14 provinces in Malaysia only two or three provinces still have slums, which would also disappear by 2005."
Kayveas said this expertise could be used in India also.
