USIBC award for GE

The United States India Business Council has conferred the USIBC 30th anniversary jubilee award for 'The US Company Contributing Most to the Indo-US Commercial Relationship' on US giant General Electric.

The USIBC award acknowledges GE's contribution to the Indo-US commercial partnership that the two countries share today and the strong confidence and commitment that GE has shown to India over the last several years.

Jeffrey R Immelt, Chairman and CEO, GE received the award from Rajat Gupta, Senior Partner Worldwide, McKinsey & Co and Chairman of USIBC. Scott R Bayman, President & CEO, GE India was also present on the occasion.

Global GE Businesses that have a presence in India are GE Advanced Materials, GE Commercial Finance, GE Money, GE Consumer & Industrial, GE Energy, GE Healthcare, GE Infrastructure, GE Transportation and NBC Universal.
