The Hotel has acquired Kovalam Hotels by entering into a share purchase agreement with the shareholders, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
As such, Kovalam Hotels Ltd has become a subsidiary of the company and their beach hotel will now be known as 'Leela Kovalam Beach, Kerala', it said.
