The initial public offer of Indian private carrier Jet Airways is expected to hit the market this fiscal. However, its exact timing will be decided by the company in the next three weeks, Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal has said.

"Yes, we will try to launch the IPO in this fiscal itself. The decision will be taken before the end of December," he said when asked about the timing of the offer.

Jet Airways, which is on an expansion drive, will require large funds to finance its international operations network to Europe as well as Asean. As a part of its international operations, Jet Airways now flies to Kathmandu and Colombo.

Besides, the airlines is also adding capacity in its domestic network also. It is expected to induct additional aircraft into service as well as to open new routes.
