Jet Airways on Thursday announced a new package, including a special Monsoon Super Apex fare, on some metro sectors with immediate effect whereby a passenger could fly to metros like Mumbai -- from Delhi -- for just Rs 2,500.
This unique 30-day Monsoon Super Apex Fare will be valid till September 15 this year and the new scheme is 20 per cent less than the existing Super Apex Fare of the carrier, a company release said.
A passenger would have to purchase a ticket for travel 30 days in advance and the entire journey against these fares must be completed on or before October 15 this year, it said.
According to this unique fare structure, Delhi-Mumbai sector would cost Rs 2,500, both Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Hyderabad (Rs 3,000), Delhi-Bangalore, Delhi-Chennai, Kolkata-Mumbai, Kolkata-Bangalore and Kolkata-Chennai (all Rs 3,500).
Another package announced by the Jet Airways was Special Monsoon Point-to-Point and return excursion fares will be valid from July 26 which will involve combination of travel to non-metro sectors via metro sectors.
While Special Monsoon Point-to-point scheme was available on 56 sectors, Return Excursion fare scheme was available on 26 sectors, the release said, adding that the passengers were required to carry their identity cards for these two schemes.
The private carrier also launched special innovative fares for Patna and Lucknow. As per this scheme, economy class passengers on Delhi-Lucknow-Delhi sector will have to pay Rs 1,999 against Rs 3,790.
Similarly, two passengers on Delhi-Patna-Delhi sector could travel while paying for one, the release said.
