JCL International on Tuesday announced the launch of multi-level car parking facilities in technical collaboration with Germany's Otto Wohr GmbH in a bid to provide hassle-free parking solutions to vehicle owners in the country.
The parking facility, Suvidha Parklift 411, would be manufactured with technology from Otto Wohr, a global car parking systems manufacturer, JCL International managing director Ajay Poddar told a news conference in New Delhi.
The parking facilities would be able to meet the needs of commercial complexes, shopping malls, hospitals and group housing societies and would require minimal power to run, he said.
"We are also looking forward to offering some equity to Otto Wohr and we will like to have an equal joint venture with them in future," Poddar said.
JCL International would also be a manufacturing base for such parking solutions for the entire South Asia region, he said.
The Suvidha Parklift has hydraulic power packs, fool-proof locking devices, anti-skid driving surface and mechanical locks backed by emergency stop buttons.
