Indian software and services exports achieved 25 per cent growth during the fiscal year 2002-03, touching a revenue of $9.5 billion.
Out of this, IT product and technology services contributed $7.2 billion, while IT-enabled services (including the business process outsourcing) segment accounted for $2.3 billion, Nasscom President Kiran Karnik said in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Giving projections for 2003-04, he said that Indian software and services are likely to achieve 26-28 per cent growth, registering $12 billion in revenue.
Out of this, IT services and products would contribute $8.4 billion, while the BPO segment is likely to account for $3.6 billion.
