IPCL, a group company of Reliance headed by Mukesh Ambani, on Thursday reported a jump of 133 per cent in net profit to Rs 189 crore (Rs 1.89 billion) for the third quarter ending December, 2004, compared to Rs 81 crore (Rs 810 million) in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
According to communication sent to the stock exchange, IPCL reported a decline of over 30 per cent in total income to Rs 1,964 crore (Rs 19.64 billion) as against Rs 2,815 crore (Rs 28.15 billion) in the same period.
