Deutsche Bank has chosen Indian Oil Corp as one of the top global stock picks in the oil and gas sector.
IOC is also the only Asian company to be featured in the list of top global stocks prepared by Deutsche Bank, the company said in a press release.
In the report titled 'Global Oil 2005: Unforgettable Fire', IOC has also been included as one of the top five recommendations of Deutsche Bank for the Indian market for 2005.
Speaking on the development, IOC chairman M S Ramachandran said, "This recommendation reflects the global banking community's positive outlook for IOC and endorses IOC's proactive strategies employed to deal with the challenges facing the oil sector in India."
