N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor of Infosys Technologies, received an annual remuneration of Rs 22 lakh (Rs 2.2 million) for the full year ended March 31, 2004, according to an Infosys filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
This remuneration comprises basic salary, allowances and taxable value of perquisites.
Nandan Nilekani, Chief Executive Officer, President and Managing Director, received an annual remuneration of Rs 23 lakh (Rs 2.3 million) during the same period. The company's Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Managing Director S Gopalkrishnan received an annual remuneration of Rs 22 lakh (Rs 2.2 million).
S D Shibulal, a director on the board of Infosys and head of worldwide customer delivery received an annual remuneration of Rs 99 lakh (Rs 9.9 million), and was among the top earners in the company.
The annual remuneration of other key individuals on the board of Infosys include T V Mohandas Pai, Chief Financial Officer -- Rs 31 lakh (Rs 3.1 million), Girish G Vaidya, Senior VP of banking business unit -- Rs 32 lakh (Rs 3.2 million), and Hema Ravichandar, Senior VP, HRD--Rs 29 lakh (Rs 2.9 million).
