Infosys Technologies said on Tuesday that it will decide on issuing bonus shares or stock split during its board meeting in Bangalore on April 13.
The company said this in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Infosys had 66.46 million shares outstanding at the end of December, each with a face value of Rs 5. It last issued bonus shares in March 1999 in the ratio of one for one. The company subsequently halved the face value of its shares in February 2000.
