Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has received shareholders approval for merging its subsidiary, IBP Co Ltd with itself.
The company informed the stock exchanges that the shareholders at a meeting convened by the Ministry of Company Affairs on Monday approved the merger of IBP Co Ltd with IOC.
The shares of IOC were trading at Rs 453.50, down 1.36 per cent at the BSE.
