HPCL Q2 net dips to Rs 22.14 crore

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation on Saturday reported a net loss of Rs 22.14 crore (Rs 221.4 million) for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against a net profit of Rs 294.31 crore (Rs 2.94 billion) in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by HPCL to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the total income increased 24.65 per cent to Rs 16,943.82 crore (Rs 169.43 billion) in Q2 FY06 from Rs 13,592.68 crore (Rs 135.92 billion) in Q2 FY05.
