Under the initiative, HP will bring together storage solutions and products and market them as a package to SMBs.
"The company is investing heavily in the programme. In the last six months we have expanded back-end teams that will support the solutions," Avijit Basu, country manager, network storage solutions, said.
He said in the last six months the size of territory teams marketing solutions have doubled.
The storage market accounts for 2.1 per cent of the Rs 18,200 crore (Rs 182 billion) IT spending by SMBs.
"We want to gain a leadership position in that," Ashwani Bhatnagar, sales programme manager for SMB Customer Solutions Group, HP Asia-Pacific, said.
