Hindustan Lever Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 4665.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2002 as compared to Rs 4363.80 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2001. Net sales has decreased from Rs 26966.80 million in DQ-01 to Rs 26345 million in DQ-02.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 17556.90 million for the year ended December 31, 2002 as compared to Rs 16413.10 million in the year ended December 31, 2001. Net sales have decreased from Rs 106675.60 million in FY-01 to Rs 99548.50 million in the year ended December 31, 20002.
The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per share for the year ended December 31, 2002.
