As part of its expansion plans next year, Hero Cycles is planning to launch "Cyclomoto", which will run on petrol, in January.
The company has launched seven models of cycles in the past two months. They are Exodus, Aggressor, Stylin, Pink, Ice, Brat and Trojan.
"Seven wonders from Hero" is how co-chairman and managing director OP Munjal puts it. Speaking to Business Standard, Munjal, said, "As part of our expansion plans, we are coming up with a cycle that will run on petrol, in January. Its engine has been developed by Hero Motors, the makers of Hero moped."
Telling about the seven new models of cycles launched in the past two months, Munjal said, "The designs are hard to copy, and all the seven designs are in their early stages."
