Customers of HDFC Bank across India were in for a rude shock on Tuesday, when they failed to withdraw money from the ATMs.
The bank's netbanking service too crashed.
According to a bank source, a link failure was responsible for all the inconvenience. The source also pointed out that all efforts were being made to rectify the problem tonight.
However, they failed to give any specific time frame.
