HCL Technologies Ltd said on Wednesday it would act as a re-seller for a business solution 'Dynamics TM,' developed by Microsoft, in the Asia-Pacific region.
Stating that it would be a system integrator partner for Microsoft's business solution, HCL Technologies informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it would initially focus on India and South-East Asia.
The inclusion of Microsoft Dynamics TM business solutions to the Enterprise Consulting Services portfolio would provide HCL access to a large customer base in the mid-market segment, strengthening its presence.
'Microsoft Dynamics' is a suite of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions that helps businesses streamline their processes effectively.
Before signing the agreement, the company had already commenced work on a few large projects on Microsoft Dynamics TM in India and South-East Asia, it said.
"This strategic partnership enhances our relationship with Microsoft in APAC. It signifies our focus on our Business Solution and Enterprise Consulting practice. We now have a complete suite of Microsoft Solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions, for customers across our focused verticals," company executive vice-president and Enterprise Consulting Services head R Vaidyanathan said.
The company's shares were trading at Rs 541.85, down 0.13 per cent at the BSE.
