The Indian industry logged 8.5 per cent growth in October 2005, compared to 10.6 per cent in the same month last fiscal.
During the first seven months this fiscal, the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew 8.4 per cent as against 8.7 per cent in the same period of 2004-05, according to official data released on Monday.
