Forex reserves up $1.56 bn to $143.15 bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $1.558 billion to $143.148 billion for the week ended March 3, according to the weekly supplement released by Reserve Bank of India on Saturday.

Foreign currency assets moved up $1.488 billion to $136.643 billion. While gold reserves were up $67 million at $5.747 billion, SDRs were unchanged at $3 million.

The Reserve Position in the IMF increased $3 million to $755 million.
