India's forex reserves rise to $141.59 billion

Foreign exchange reserves increased $350 million to $141.59 billion for the week ended February 24, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.

Foreign currency assets moved up $349 million to $135.155 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $5.680 billion and $3 million, respectively.

The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF increased $1 million to $752 million.
