Forex reserves up at $137.56 billion

Foreign exchange reserves increased $662 million to $137.561 billion for the week ended July 15, 2005 when compared with $136.899 billion in the previous week, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India.

Foreign currency assets increased $650 million to $131.547 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $4.453 billion and $4 million, respectively. The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF moved up to $1.557 billion.
