Foreign exchange reserves increased $20 million to $119.304 billion for the week ended October 8, 2004 when compared with $119.284 billion in the previous week, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Saturday.
Foreign currency assets were up $21 million at $113.809 billion. While gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $4.192 billion and $1 million, respectively, the Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF declined $1 million to $1.302 billion.
