Forex reserves up at $89.33bn

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $771 million to touch $89.327 billion in the week ended September 26, 2003, according to the Reserve Bank of India.

The forex reserves stood at $88.556 billion in the previous week,

Foreign currency assets were up $771 million at $85.603 billion. Gold and SDRs were unchanged at $3.720 billion and $4 million, respectively.
