G P Srivatsava has taken over as the chairman and managing director of the Electronics Corporation of India Limited, the pioneer of indigenous electronic revolution in the country.
He has taken over from V H Ron, who retired on June 30.
As CMD, Srivatsava would be responsible for managing and leading ECIL's consistent growth path, technology leadership and infrastructure building for the nation.
He joins ECIL after 33 years of experience in Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, according to a release in Hyderabd on Wednesday.
