S S Meenakshisundram on Wednesday took charge as secretary in the ministry of divestment.
Meenakshisundram takes over charge from Pradip Baijal who retired on February 28, 2003, an official media release said.
Prior to his new assignment, Meenakshisundram who is an IAS officer of 1968 batch, was secretary in the department of drinking water supply under the ministry of rural development.
