Subhash Chandra-promoted Dish TV has signed exclusive direct-to-home deals in Cannes with five international channels, including Eurosport News and Fashion TV.
The other three channels are Trace by MCM (music), Malibu TV (nature sports) and Platinum TV Network (lifestyle), Dish TV said in a release on Tuesday.
Dish TV is a company promoted by Essel Group's ASC Enterprises Ltd. It has over 100,000 subscribers with a bouquet of 50 channels.
Dish TV was in the process of increasing its capacity to 108 channels by May 2004, it added.
