Get your unique ID card in a year

The first Unique Identification Card to citizens will roll out in 12-18 months.

The government has made a provision of Rs 120 crore (Rs 1.2 billion) for the project, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said while presenting the Union Budget for 2009-10.
