Arrears owed by subscribers to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd stand at Rs 2655 crore (Rs 26.55 billion), including Rs 306 crore (Rs 3.06 billion), against government departments, Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.
Similarly, dues of MTNL amounted to Rs 875 crore (Rs 8.75 billion) of which Rs 18 crore was owed by government departments, Minister of State for Communications and IT Sumitra Mahajan said in a written reply.
