Ford Mustang, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Nissan GT-R will soon set Indian roads on fire

Ford Mustang
Ford Mustang has always been the most liked car in America and many other parts of the world and will continue to be so in future as well. The vehicle was first introduced in 1965 and since then, it’s been continuously growing in popularity. The 50-year-old pony is now ready to make its debut in India. At present, the 2015 version of Mustang is offered in various markets and India is expected to get the same.
On the outside, Ford Mustang gets signature radiator grille that features a black colour perforated mesh with the company’s logo placed at the centre. It sports headlight cluster with sleek design and a pair of fog lamps. The side will get alloy wheels while the rear comes with elegantly designed taillight and large bumpers.
Interiors of Ford Mustang gets classy and premium design with the cabin flaunting leather upholstery. Other features included in the car are advanced infotainment system that comes with SYNC 2 connectivity feature, electronic temperature control, airbags among others. Under the hood, 2 EcoBoost engines will be offered in the form of 2.3-litre petrol mill and 5.0 litres mills generating 310HP and 435HP of mammoth power outputs.
Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler
After a long wait, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is finally bringing the Jeep brand in the country next year. The new launches will be sold via five exclusive dealerships. As per the strategy, initially, the company will introduce two vehicles -- Grand Cherokee and Wrangler SUV in the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. The company has invested around Rs 1,500-2,500 crore to help the production of new vehicles in the country. The Ranjangaon plant is the 4th unit outside the United States.
The Jeep Cherokee will get 4WD setup, and globally it is available in 3 engine options viz, 5.7 liter V8 and 3.6 liter v6 petrol engines and 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine producing respective power outputs of 360HP, 290HP and 260HP. On the other hand Jeep Wrangler would house a 3.6 liter V6 petrol which generates 285HP. Jeep brand will also introduce an entry-level SUV that will be locally manufactured.
Nissan GT-R
The Indian market is gradually shifting towards performance cars. Nissan is all set to bring its performance packed GT-R in India. Yes, the Godzilla is arriving.
Nissan GT-R as usual looks attractive from every angle. The car features high-intensity discharge headlights, LED daylight running lights, automatic on/off headlights and LED tail lights and brake lights. Coming to its interiors, it will feature AC vents, USB connectivity, 7-inch VGA high-resolution touch screen display unit among other high-tech gadgets.
Mechanically, Nissan will get 3.8-litre mill that can deliver the power output of 474 bhp at 6400 rpm and peak torque of 588 Nm at 3200-6000 rpm.
